Writing. To some it can be a chore, to others just an everyday necessity to get by, but for me, well, I like to think of it as my sweet escape. Whether I am jotting down in my journal an incident that happened, quoting snippets of a book I am currently reading, or reflecting on something the Lord is speaking to my heart, writing is so natural for me. It's what I do. It's also what usually brings me back to a great big mirror, reflecting all I claim to be, yet am not, which in turn, leads me back to the arms of Jesus, who is Everything He claims to be and more-whom in actuality, is My (much) Sweeter Escape.

New Welcoming for a New Month

Finally, it is here! I have eagerly been awaiting this for such a long time it seems. It's all I dream about. All I think about. I'm pretty sure it has consumed my mind. Two great things happening this month:

1.) I am finally “launching” my BLOG!

2.) This is the month of my favorite holiday... DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS (that counts as a holiday right? I mean, anytime we get an “extra” hour of sleep should automatically be deemed a holiday)! Oh, and well Thanksgiving of course. =)

Hands down, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday (well, other than my birthday)! Pumpkin pie. Whip cream. Hot chocolate (don't forget the mallows!). STUFFING! Cranberry goodness. Oh, the list goes on... and boy am I excited! Fun Fact: Food usually excites me.

So, in closing of my very first post allow me to say a nice, warm, heart to heart, over the top message:

WELCOME TO MY BLOG PEOPLE* !!!

Until next time...

*By "people" I mean all three of you, of course. Devoted readers of mine, you know who you are. Consider this your shout out. ;)
